Looking for an electric bike tax credit or rebate in your area is the place to start.
With gas prices constantly fluctuating, it makes sense to look at an electric bike for saving money when you can ride instead of drive. Not to mention traffic, parking, exercise, etc.
In the United States, there are currently no nationwide tax credits or rebates available specifically for electric bikes. However, some states may have their own incentives. It’s best to check with your local government or tax authority to see if there are any applicable credits or rebates in your area. Additionally, there may be other federal or state-level incentives available for energy-efficient transportation, such as tax credits for electric vehicles, which could potentially include electric bikes. Contact Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-OR), the founder and co-chair of the Congressional Bike Caucus and the co-sponsor of the Electric Bicycle Incentive Kickstart for the Environment (E-BIKE) Act to see what you can do to help.
With more Americans going green and looking to save in the process, states and cities are stepping up with tax credits and e-bike rebates to help consumers save EVEN MORE when purchasing a new e-bike.
